Life’s building blocks are not always what they seem to be…

For the first few years of my life, the hospital was my home away from home. When you’re a child in the hospital, there’s not a whole lot to smile about. The occasional wheel chair race was always a blast, of course! Things that brought a smile to my face were visits from family, as well as, reading and singing with my mom. Some may consider such a start to life, sad. But the experience led to some of my most strongest passions and foundations in life – reading, singing, family and my mom. ~ 494
